I'm running Win7 Ultimate in an old notebook with the below listed specs seen in my signature running on a Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller. I am planning to purchase a user-friendly, reliable, and quality video editing software similar to Magix Video Editing. However, I am concerned if such software can work under my specs. What probable decent video editing software could you kindly prescribe to me? Thanks, guys.![]()

i use pinnacle studio 12 which is quite expensive for the full package and a little power hungry.
have you tried the windows movie maker which comes with windows 7
its basic but it does the job. -

-I don't know why my win7 ultimate didn't come with the movie maker as pre-installed

How hard is it to go and download from the microsoft site? Here is the link for you:

Microsoft took it out to save space. If it does come on a laptop preinstalled, that is due to the computer maker putting it on there. -

-I successfully downloaded Windows MovieMaker but failed to ran it due to its system requirements. When I ran MovieMaker, it says that I need at least 2.3GHz to ran it. My notebook only has 1.6GHz

Your GPU is not supported I guess.

Actually, my notebook's specs (as listed below) can accommodate all the programmes of Windows Live Essentials except the MovieMaker due to its processor requirements...
-
It requires only 1 GHz or higher processor. Your video card is the issue.

-Yeah, you're right. My vid card is far too old for the windows movie maker...

Hi, guys
What do you think about ULEAD Pro 8 & 11, Adobe, or Vegas? Can my system requirements (listed on my signature) accommodate them? Thanks a lot

tbh if it struggles with windows movie maker then i dont reckon you have any chance with these other programs as they would be much more power hungry.
ive never used any of them so am not 100% on this but hopefully someone that has used them can advise. -

-okay, thanks for the advice
