I just got two kittens a couple of weeks ago and they insist on helping me type when i am gaming making my notebook go berserk.

I know there is retail software but i have no money.

    Thanks

    John.

It's either Pawsense or Catnip (Mac), or a simple keyboard lock, like this:

Got a jumpy cat? You need KeyboardLock

I use a powered wireless keyboard / trackpad, and I switch it off when I am not going to type for a while. I do wear out the switches eventually, but they are pretty cheap at $25 each.

On a desk I would slide over a hard keyboard cover, or slide the keyboard under the monitor - use a short monitor stand with a cubby.

If i am gaming with 360 gamepad i just turn my keyboard upside down, then they can sit on top all they like, though i still have a heart attack when they decide to scratch my screen, luckily i have an 20" tablet and it has a glass screen, though if it has any coating on it that can be scratched i do not know.

Yeah, I have the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with my 20" tablet, see my sig for specs.
