This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any good FREE video editing software ?

    I am looking for video software that can do simple things like cutting pieces away ,breaking files up into smaller onesm
    , the files are in .asf format..

    If VirtualDub can't do it (and I don't believe it can, as VDub works pretty much only with the AVI container) try AVI DeMux, also free and can handle Windows Media Files.

    If Virtualdub cant open it then install avisynth an use an avs file with Virtualdub and BAM should open.
