I haven't done audio or video editing in months now...and most of those applications are no longer on my laptop. So, anyway, I have some video files that have stereo audio, but the problem is that only the left side has any sound. So my question is, does anyone know of any application that could convert it to mono (in which both speakers are giving sound)?

    Thanks

Edit: Oh right, it should be freeware.

^ And will I be able to feed in a video or will I have to extract audio, edit, then put it back in.

The tools you use to do it will depend on the Video's format, but generally speaking you'll need to de-mux the audio stream, fix the audio and re-mux. There's a great list of tools at VideoHelp.com/tools.

for straight audio editing, you could use audacity. i don't know if you can edit a video's sound through audacity as well, though.
