Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows any good (free) software that can address the following issues:
Managing bookmarks (must beFirefox, Google Chrome and IE compatible)
    Cleaning out registry errors

Also, what do you guys think about the recently released Microsoft Security Essentials (free anti-virus software)?
In your honest opinion, what would be a good and effective combination of security software, in terms of anti-virus, firewall and anti-spyware/malware?
I have noticed that when you install different security software, they tend to conflict and REALLY slow down your computer! What would be efficient?

I appreciate anyone's input. These issues have plagued my computer for a long time now, and it is really irritating. I did check "The Evergrowing Free Windows Software List" but it wasn't helpful in solving these issues.

    Thanks!!! (in advance) :)

P.S. +1 rep to anyone who can help me solve these issues!

Well as for security, i myself use Avast which i find to be a great free antivirus. I have tried MSE but for some reason its process tend to use 50% of my cpu, even when not scanning ect. I dont use a firewall because i dont think thats an issue really, unless someone is targeting you.. Windows Firewall should do. Anti spyware wise, i think defender would do its job OK, otherwise get spybot which is a "non-realtime" anti spyware program, which you just have to run once in a while.. its very efficient.

Running two difference antivirus programs is a bad idea as one alone often tend to slow down the system already.. so just get one..

and for malware, get malwarebytes anti-malware and scan once in a while, it's great!
