    Dear All:
    Getting to know my Inspiron700m is a blast but it is a learning tool for me to get into the Windows world. Need suggestions on books teaching XP and Office applications. I have looked at Amazon.com but want more from this forum. Cost is not really an issue, for it is toward my learnings. CD courses also sparks my curousity. College is out -have to work.

    Still no major problems with laptop. Still trying to solve ram recognition problem.

    Went down to our Barnes and Noble. Unbelievable selections. TOO much info to take in. Will go back tomorrow and look for your recommendation. If not there -Amazon.

    I hope you are doing your review. By tomorrow, Crucial Tech should be getting an answer to me on my ram situation.I will post the results. So far, all antivirus and adware software works fine! Much thanks to the earlier suggestions and info!

    I feel pretty good about the Dell world. My friend is beginning to get trouble wth her Vaio tr3 - keyboard intermittent on some keys. Another story for elsewhere...
