Okay, I know what SpeedFan. It doesnt seem to work for me.

Is there any other way to turn on my notebook fans to full?

I just got my Zalman NC2000. Played a dota game with it on full. So far, its epic failz, only lowered my temps by 2-3 all around. My theory tho is because my notebook fans didnt turn on to full like they usually do, since an external cooler was cooling it.

So, back to the point of this post, is there any other way to turn on my notebook fans to full?

The Fan Info is normally hard-coded into the BIOS and the ACPI and similar can access it. The fan comes on at about 50% when a certain temp of about ~45*C is exceeded and on 100% when temps exceed ~65*C.
I have not heard of any software which can control fans through the SM Bus info. So, if you are experiencing high temps, try undervolting or check out the task manager, for what is the cause of the CPU usage.

Well its not nesseccary that I have a problem with what my temps are. I just wanted to test out how effective the zalman NC2000 is for my notebook, thats why i was wondering if there was a way to turn it on to full.

^ Worth a try, depends if the ACPI Control System is configured for that system.

Fan control programs usually don't work simply because fan control is integrated into the BIOS; it is not a "program-level" function. This is why Ik8fanGUI will only work for Dells.

Yep, thats why I posted it, when my Fan was not working in my 5315 when i installed XP, i had to use this to get my Fan on until I updated the BIOS to v1.43
