The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It's the first time i changed setting for changing saving direction,but when i restart,all my notes is lost :confused:
    How do i restore the setting

    I've been using onenote for a couple years without a problem, but i've never tried changing the output directory. have you navigated to the default directory and checked to see if the files are there (default is my documents > my notebook)? if so, i'd copy them to the new directory and open them from there.
