    Hey all,
Just wanted to ask my fellow forum trolls if they thought I should have anything else to keep my computer clean.
    I currently have :
    - CCleaner
    - AVG Anti-virus
    - Spybot
    - Ad-aware

    Anything else?

    Also,
How good is AVG spyware? I've heard moderate comments, and how is it compared to what I'm using atm?
(The free versions.. I haven't found funding to upgrade yet =))

    Possibly a modified hosts file

But really, when all is said and done, the one single greatest decider is you. You alone know what you do with your internet connection... so really if you're sensible about your browsing habits, you'll have zero problems. For example I've not done an a/v scan or spyware scan for a few weeks. Pointless as I know nothing will come up

Possibly a reg cleaner like regscrub, but really your system should be fine. Regularly defragment, then worry more about using your laptop than maintaining it :p

CCleaner is basically all you need. That and the defragmenter built in to Windows, and disk checker. I run XP in Virtual Machine and use that instead of Vista to browse the web, so if I get viruses and whatnot I can just start a new VM Image ;)

I don't even have an anti-virus/firewall/ or spyware software installed with Vista.
