This is a free ware program that block sites from tracking you on the internet, its blocks social networks and tracking companies I have over 209,000 blocks to date and going on my 9th Platinum metal, Abine shows what company's are trying to track you and that it has blocked them. Its incorporated into the Mozilla Firefox I use Version 26.0 right now.
I like privacy tools, I'm using version 3.

Yes before you ask M$ omits there trackers from the settings on IE,,not so with Firefox, total blocking including M$ trackers.

This site for instance has 13 tracking companies and Abine has blocked them all. A few of them Optimizely,Google Adsense,Google Analytics, Crazy Egg,SkimLinks, Quantcast, ect.. :)

You got to like freedom of information.

    Cheers

It's the only one I use for Firefox and Chrome alongside AdBlock Plus, Ghostery does the same thing however I find DoNotTrackMe is lighter and does not slow down my web browsing experience.

It really shouldn't matter which one you use between DoNotTrackMe and Ghostery however it's highly recommended that you at least use one of them and not the other since have two running at the same time can cause conflicts, slow down the web browser and will not be providing you any more protection one does on it's own.
