I have a Toshiba Z830 and after clean install of Win 8, I do not have all the trackpad functions.

Specifically, after a whole day of working on it, I still can not get the left or right edge swipes to work- From doing a web search it seems to be a common problem- Toshiba does not have a Win 8 specific synaptics driver and I have the latest synaptics driver for my trackpad.

This is very annoying since the edge motions are actually one of the useful features of Win 8. From my understanding many differnet laptop brand owners are having the same issue- Any solutions?
