    Hi

Is anyone here familiar with using Bootskin to change their XP boot screen?

I've changed mine on my copy of XP Home SP3 but for a second before the custom boot screen kicks in the standard Windows XP boot screen is displayed, which kinda ruins the effect. :(

Is there anyway I can resolve that slightly annoying issue, without resorting to hacking the system files to completely remove or replace the original boot screen?

Thanks as usual for any helpful advice on this. :)

I doubt that you can run away from a split original boot screen before getting ino the customised screens.

There might be a registry entry that would suppress the standard Windows screen at start up. Search the net for it.

    cheers ...
