Anyone have ACER D270 netbook and installed Windows XP on it? Please help!

I cannot seem to install Windows XP on this netbook, and I have tried all the methods.

I have set the mode to IDE and when I start the setup, the setup loads fine, and then the setup gets stuck at the "registering components" stage.

I have tried installing from USB and External CD Drive, but both of them are the same issue.

    Anyone please help?

    Thanks.
