I have tried Super, I found it through some thread searching but it always errors out after about 30minutes. I need to covert some big files, 2gb plus, to wmv so I can edit them in windows movie maker. If anyone knows of a good MP4 editor then there is no need to convert, but, every MP4 editor I have tried sucks the big one, or is just a trial version with a limit on file size.

Yes, sorry I did not mention Freeware, that is preferable as this is most likely a one time deal.

I will try and remember the programs I have used but, I have been uninstalling them as soon as they don't work, and I really haven't paid attention to the names.

    Editor:
    AVS
    and another one can't remember...

    Converter:
    Super
    ImTOO (trial 5mb limit)
Xilisoft (I have have tried the editor too, not too sure)

All I really want to do is split the file to two place (extract the middle portion of the video) there has got to be some freeware that will allow me to do that...
