    Anyone know when the new deskcapes is coming out?

    The new version of deskscapes by Stardock is supposed to come out this month according to their website. Has anyone heard anything or gotten a chance to dl this? It is supposed to enable dreamscene for non ultimate vista os's

    no it doesnt enable dreamscene, thats microsoft

    it is deskscapes, stardocks own version,and it runs .dream files , which do look good and theres lots of them, i am really eager to try this out but weather or not its released anytime soon is anyones guess

    There is no set release date to mention, but we hope to have it out very, very soon.

    You can always get access to the beta by becoming a subscriber to Object Desktop. :)

    why would we want to pay money to get a program thats going to be free ???

    you could always give us acess for free to the beta so we could give you feedback on it and help testing ...

    There will be two versions of a DeskScapes. A free version, and an enhanced version that will offer more features, and subscribers get the advanced version. You don't "have" to subscribe, I justed wanted to point out you can get very early access to things like this.


    That's an advantage to being a subscriber, very early access ;)

    I just noticed I was in beta for this software. Hahaha.
    I installed it couple weeks ago, so I can use a .dream file.
    From personal experience, the program runs pretty well, I have Vista Ultimate and it seems to be able to "Integrate" itself with the dreamscene, but the supposely next version of deskscape will allow other Vista OSs to use the func of dreamscene as well.
