The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any body tried this OS. It is still probably in Alpha stage but sounds prety interesting to me. I would have tried it right away but I don,t have a test machine.

    isn't this basically the original idea behind Linspire Linux, which they dropped because emulation is slow no matter what?

    I don,t know about this.

    I just tried live CD and GUI is nice. Options look like windows but OS is still in too early stage. BTW the live CD is practically an empty CD, just a GUI!
    But I think install CD has more options as I saw in their forums( I registered but could not login in spite of repeated trials-- even the site is in alpha stage!)

    I am downloading the VMware version of it and will install in VMware player to see how it works.
