I have been using it since yesterday and it is so much faster, images look better, sites render better. The only thing is none of my addons work except adblock which makes me sad.

    What's your opinion about it?

I'm actually really interested but i'll have to wait until all of my addons work with it, so i'll have to wait for the official launch. Oh wait, i can use an extension to override the version check feature to install my old addons. But wait, i might have problems. Darn.

Firefox 3 looks really rad... I probably won't use it until all my addons work like everyone else.

I am using it. I like it. Since the internet connection I am using gets up to only 54mbps, and is usually lower than that, it seems the same speed as FF2. Besides some addons not yet working, I like how some of the new improvements like with saving passwords.

I really see no differ expect a slight better ram usage, but that happens after all updates and then goes back to the normal dreaded mem leakage several day later.

I Have Firefox 2. Is it okay to download Firefox 3 beta?

And how about vice versa? I have a clean system, so I download Firefox 3, then 2 do these programs interact with each other?

it replaces firefox 2 and you will have to do the above fixes to try and get addons working, but if you only use adblock plus, you should be fine.

it is ok to download FF3 beta, by default u will have 2 installations where u can either call up FF2 or FF3, but not in parallel since FF3 will take over

u would have 2 engines, sharing same plugins and addon, if u choose to have the same profile. Exception is when u call up FF3 beta, many of the extensions and addon will not be compatible. Nightly tester tool, as stated by djk21108, would help one force-bypassing the incompatibility issue. But unless u really need them, I would recommend not to, since this would defeat the purpose of plugging security holes via extensions and addon

    cheers ...
