Hi guys. I've got an annoying little problem since I got my Dell Vostro 1500 last week. No matter what I do, I can't get Indesign to scroll the pages using the Synaptics touchpad. I've tried literally half a dozen drivers, and nothing. The curious thing is that if there is a scrollbar in a dialog box like the colour swatches, it will scroll fine. Go figure.

Adobe tech support's response? 'It might work in Photoshop because it's a graphic design program.' And Indesign isn't? Nice fob-off guys.

My old M60 worked fine with an Alps Touchpad.

The only good thing to come out of this was that I discovered the touchpad driver for an M90 actually has the 'swipe gestures' for 'back' and 'forward' when you're browsing. That was my favourite feature of the alps but I didn't know synaptics would do it...

Anyways - I'd be curious to know if anyone else has got it working at all.
