This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I'm not buying it. They can say whatever they want in a press release, but I think their actions are a little more telling. They've made millions through iTunes selling music that can't be played on rival music players due to the DRM.

    They can say that the big four music companies MADE them add the DRM. Then why does EVERY song on iTunes carry the DRM? Surely there are a few CDs on their not released by Universal et al.

    Apple has done as much to spread DRM crippled music files as Napster did to spread illegal ones.

    Cracking DRM isn't very hard to do at all -- thank god.

    I dont see that lasting to long (they have several weeks to fix IF (WHEN) it gets out of control)
