This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    so i installed Minefield, but it didnt have any of my bookmarks that i had when i had FireFox ive tried getting them back but have failed - anyone know how to get bookmarks from FireFox into MineField?

    I know nothing about minefield but I'll try and offer advise anyways.

    Do you still have the firefox bookmarkbackups folder? Do a search for it. It should be located at:

    Operating System

    Profile Folder Path
    Windows Vista/XP/2000 %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\

    * (Windows Vista, XP, and 2000) %APPDATA% is shorthand for the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ folder (Windows Vista) or the C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\ folder (Windows XP/2000), which depends on your Windows user account name.

    IF you can find a backup of your bookmarks maybe you can restore it.
