I always here that people can not find drivers with for 64-bit version of Vista, but on this forum it seems like everyone uses a 64-bit version. I really would like use the 4 GB of RAM that I plan to get, but am worried that not everything will work if I do. Are the problems people are experiencing just inexperience with computers or is it truly that difficult to find drivers?

What I decided to do, was Dual Boot a Vista x86 and Vista x64.

See what it's like for a few months, and then remove one of them!

I have a HP HDX9250EA, and downloaded all the drivers needed for x64 from the HP Support website.

    So far so good =)

Just now seeing if there are any software problems, and there may be with Firefox =(

    Good Luck!

    Give it a go!

which laptop do you have? if you do your research, most manufacturers include 64 bit drivers. so yeah, just find drivers before you go 64. :)

If you have an HP or Dell, you'll probably have very few problems finding all you need. I had a Inspiron 1720 for a week and had 64-bit working on it with no problems. I am not so lucky with my Sony - there are a few drivers but not all have been found/identified yet, so I am sticking with 32-bit for a while.

Yeah it depends on your laptop manufacturer
