    Considering that the 64 bit thing is only for retail Vista, I'd rather not buy a laptop, then buy Vista again...

    Am I mistaken, or can you get 32-bit Vista with your computer, and then use a $5 Upgrade Anytime disk to upgrade to 64?

    HP sells CTO Vista Ultimate 64 with most all their upper end consumer notebooks. In fact, they won't even provide 32 bit Ultimate as an option. If you want 32 bit, you have to settle for Home Premium, like I did.
