Dunno if this still works for taking care of adware/spyware from themexp.org, but here it is:

    I did that.
I then extracted a couple of folders with .msstyle files to windows/resources/themes.
But I cant access them from the theme menu
    I followed
    http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?showtopic=8799

EDIT: Ok the problem seemed to be that windows was overwritin the theme patc file. Iused the moving i386 to a diff folder and running the patcher, and nowit works

installed some themes: these 3 I really liked
    1. The best - very well designed. It also has just the zip file of the theme.

    (I did not install cursorxp).

    2. This you need to extract using the method described in
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=2525615&postcount=53
I like it as it is a minimal theme
    http://www.themexp.org/preview.php?mid=96044
EDIT: I just extracted and posted the style file to

Guys: do not install ANY program from theme xp. Extract files and just move the theme/style files to
windows/resources/themes, and double click on the theme file.

I use Novum OS on my laptop and its pretty nice. Its dark with a tinge of blue.

Be sure to turn off themes services if you use Windowblinds. It'll just use resources for no reason.

You need to install Windowblinds first, then open the wba file. After that, go to services.msc and disable themes services. It runs pretty quickly for me.

The best part is that it's FREE. Personally, I keep most of my Apps open all the time (Word, OneNote, Outlook, Firefox), so it's not very useful to me.

Have been using it for a week or so and it is pretty cool indeed.
If you have any specific questions about it, here is the RocketDock forum.

You can prevent programs from minimizing to RocketDock, if you wish to, by pressing 'Control-Alt-Shift' before minimizing the program window.
This will make a RocketDock exclusion rule.
It uses about 7/8 MB of your resources.

I'd rather install another program than jack around with my Windows system files. You can always uninstall the program and go back to normal. Try it out at least.

It used more resources at first for me but that was because I kept Themes services up at the same time. No need for it if you're using WB. After turning it off it runs just as fast, if not a little faster.
