    Are these updates not useful ?

    Hi
    I did a clean install of vista today but when I tried to update the vista, 13 updates failed to install.

    I attempted manually and I got the messege that this update is not applicable for your system.

    Windows automatic update says my system is uptodate.

    Any ideas ?

    Install SP1 RC1. That should get you pretty updated.

    They don't look all that important. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Sp1 Rc expire just so you know

    run winver it will you the date

    I look at the spefic kb id for updates see if they import

    as they say on side if they are not i wound realy try to get them install most of them do address spefic issues

    I would not install any SP1 right now. Just wait a few weeks and the final one will come out.

    I wouldn't worry to much about it. If it really bothers you, try calling Microsoft or something.
