The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Are you guys aware there is Speedial in FF too?

    I use Opera and have since version 6.0 or so (I even used to pay for it, back when you had to). My only complaint with Firefox though is that it annoys the crap out of me that lots of people who refused to try any sort of alternative browser back before FF have switched to FF now that it's the "cool" thing to do.

    That's not a knock on the browser though, and I've used FF before, and it's a solid program. I just prefer Opera because I LOVE mouse gestures. Not to mention Opera's whole thin and light focus.

    Like everyone else, I know you can probably get everything you want with FF, after downloading lots of extensions and adding them on, but I like Opera, and I can get it tweaked just how I want after about 5 minutes now, so I feel no need to change.
