Okay windows is asking me to activate my product key again, but when i first put vista on my laptop I'm pretty sure i activated it and this was back in May. So why is it asking me to activate it now? Also when i went ot activate i noticed my product key is different from the one from the express upgrade disc i got, and it says this key is already in use, and when i try to change it back to the one on the express upgrade disc it says that it was already in use. Anyone knowthe number for Microsoft i can talk to them about this, that free? Or at least an e-mail adress i can e-mail this about? I'm tried to look on the microsof website not much luck.

I forgot where exactly I went but I had to end up chatting online with someone from there support who gave me a new activation key, I tried doing it over the phone but I could not understand the person at all.

When it ask you to activate your product it gives you an option to call, just click that there is a phone number in there, call them...i think its a 1-866 number = free. They will give you another code or suffin as long as you explain what happened.
