    Aspire 3610 Power Options will not start-Help!

    Aspire 3610, Windows XP SP2, all Windows updates, Acer Epower Management.

    From Control Panel, when I attempt to open Power Options, I get the following in a popup window:

    The system cannot locate the object specified

    Line: 0

    Top left corner of popup window has "epm"

    Can anyone tell me what is going on, or how to fix it. Talking to Acer support on phone is like nailing Jell-o to a tree. :confused:
