    Hello everybody,
it's my first post here, I hope you can help me.

I've downgraded to xp sometime ago and everything worked fine.... well, in appearance. Only now I have noticed that my CPU (Turion 64 TL-58) is working at 780MHz instead of 1900!!! I think that this is a problem of the ACPI driver, because I also don't have the Hibernate option in the shut-down menu. The ACPI driver was one among the not recognized by XP.

Everything else works fine (I didn't tried the bluetooth, just because I don't have any bluetooth device..), but this is a big problem, because for school I need to run simulations and do other operations that involve a lot of CPU work.

I would like to know if my assumption that the CPU frequency problem is caused by the incorrect ACPI driver is correct, or not.
I also want to tell you that if you have any problem with other drivers, I can help you, since I was able to install everything properly.

    Thanks

Hello everyone. I need your help. Can you please post references, where can i get drivers for Asus F7kr (i'm from Russia, we,ve got problems with them :)).
I can't find drivers for ethernet controller, there are also 3 PCI devices unknown in my device manager, SM - bus controller, 1 unknown device, 3 general system devices. I realise, that they are Cardreader, HDMI and TV tuner.

I've read that some of the Vista drivers wil work with XP, but they did not. Lan drivers from A7t also do not work. Please help.

Thank you for answer and sorry for my poor English.

Hello, I opened this thread but then I've almost forgot about it.
Thank you everybody for the answers.

I installed the CPU driver and it works, but there is still something wrong with the ACPI module, since i'm not able neither to standby nor to hibernate the laptop. Did anybody experience that?

By the way, is there anybody here using Linux (Ubuntu in particular)? I'd like to know since I'm having quite a lot of problems there.

    Thank you again!
