I have a new Asus M50Vm and Im having a problem when I log on using the fingerprint scanner. The problem is that the verification icon that appears in the top right corner of the screen simply remains there forever, sitting on top of all my active windows. The only way to get rid of it as far as I can tell is to restart, but if I use the scanner again it just comes back.

Any ideas? I can post a pic if it helps.
