I am happily learning all th features of my new Fujitsu P7010!
Since it has a microphone jack, I would like to record my cassettes and CD's on my notebook and then transfer to my new mp3 player.
Since I have never done anything like this before, i am at a loss as to how to do it?
I beceive that I must first get some type of software to record via computer's sound card.
On a quick search in google I see :
Audio MP3 Sound Recorder at http://www.mp3-recorder.biz/index.htm
7. How to convert music from tape casettes?
There answer is: You need only a device for transfering the sound from your tape cassettes to your computer and then record it.
My question is what would this device be?
I also see: http://www.mp3-recorder.net/
Audio Record Wizard is a sound recorder software, which offers professional recording features with mp3 support
Thanks for any help!

you need one of those speaker cables that has a headphone-like jack on each end. Plug one end into the tape player and the other into your mic jack. The software does the rest.
