hi guys I am using windows 7 64bit. The problem I got is when I used to connect my TV via hdmi or my gaming headset via usb my laptop would automatically switch the audio output to that device. Now it no longer does this for some unknown reason. Every time I connect a device I need to go into the playback device settings and disable the device I am using in order for the device I just connected to work. Why is it now doing this as it is very annoying???

    thanks.

I had a similar issue with an ATI card via HDMI, I had to do a repair on my ATI driver (part of it is HDMI audio). I am not sure if NVidia works the same way though.

Are you running any software such as creative/realtek and if so have you tried reinstalling it?
