Is it possible to have Windows auto-create a thumbs.db file for all folders containing images or videos? I think having Windows (I'm using Windows 7) crawl through once and generate the files will save waiting time in the future.

    Thanks.

    Not that I know of.

BTW, the thumb.db files created in local folders is now obsolete. Those were created under XP. Vista and later store the thumbnail files in a central location.

Thanks, guess I'll keep looking. Do you know how Vista and 7 store thumbnails or where?
