I am not sure if this the right spot to post this , but I do not see anywhere else for this to fit. I recently bought a lenovo thinkpad E520, it is a great laptop. The only thing i do not like about it is, if i stop using the mouse pad for a certain amount of time it goes to the login screen. I went in and turned off the facial recognition feature and unchecked the lock my computer when the keyboard or mouse is not in use box. It still goes to the logout screen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Moved it to windows forums, you need to set windows not to give you the login screen on wake-up. I can't remember where the option is and since i'm heading to bed, i won't look for it today. It is definitely a windows setting that needs changing and i'm sure someone knows by heart where to go to change it. Worse case, i'll look for it tomorrow if there is no answer.

Click control panel then power options.

In top left corner click require password on wakeup.

    Set that to off.
