I've been using my really old desktop as a file server for about 2 months now, however turning it on every morning gets old pretty quick. I use AMP Winoff to turn it off at 10:00. However, I have yet to find something to turn it on by itself. There is no option in the BIOS like on my laptop. Is there a way to set it to turn on by itself? Or wake from standby at a specific time? Thanks!

Windows Scheduler should get it out of Standby.

There's a 'Scheduled Task' wizard in the control panel that can do it. Be prepared to wait as it looks up the list of what it believes are schedulable tasks. Then just follow it through.
