I remember years back, I used a program on my aunt's computer, where all I had to do was talk, and the computer automatically types the words for you... Are there any programs like that out there today?

Dragon NaturallySpeaking ( http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeaking/) is pretty much at the top for regular, ie, non-niche, users.
EDIT: A competitor, ViaVoice (used to be from IBM) is at http://www.nuance.com/viavoice/

Lol Lithus!!
I saw that video a while ago and I couldn't stop laughing.
My experience with Vista's built in speech recognition has been pretty negative. It's a resource hog and frequently crashes. It barely recognized anything I said... but I suppose the recognition ability will improve over time.
What's you guys' experience? -
