Hey guys, I need some help getting autoplay to work on my laptop. AFAIR it has never worked since I installed W7. Basically when I put a cd/dvd in the drive, or plug an external disk, I have to go on my computer and launch or browse the media manually, Windows doesn't display the dialog even after resetting the Autoplay settings to default. I thought it was a Windows 7 Professional thing but now that I thing about it(months after the fact :D ) It doesn't seem right...

Did it show a dialog and let you choose what to do, and offer the option to always doing this for the particular media?

Check also the program associations settings.

    cheers ...
