    Hi all,
Just wanted some help with a autorun problem. Basically I recently reformatted my hard drive to keep things fresh and everything's running smoothly except autoplay/autorun. Firstly I had to enable autoplay via the registry because it wasn't on, anyone know why it wouldn't have enabled automatically? Also it's now on but when I mount an image it doesn't autorun, it just shows the autoplay menu. Here's some screenshots to better explain it.

Usually it would have autorun and have the icon.

My computer also shows it differently, it used to show the icon and double clicking would autorun rather than open in folder.

The Autorun files are there as seen above.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

I've changed the settings in the registry for autoplay, that's how I got it working. However I've just checked the CD specific registry entry and its set at 1 but there is another file there as seen in the screenshot below.

Is that 3rd file meant to be there. It seems it may be the problem. I think the reason this has happened is because of software. I installed some new programs I didn't have before and I think they may have altered some settings. And I have tried different mounting software.

Thanks, looks like that's it. I will make sure to backup my registry and I'll try deleting it.
