I have the 9280 and love it. Question is with the cyberlink powerdvd I can't play BD movies. It gives error - incompstible graphics driver, pleas use default driver for payback.

    i also loaded the
bd advisor and it shows the grapgic card and driver with green dots, which means it's compatible. So, is with the software that comes with the laptop. Is there another software I can use instead? Any help appreicated.

    thanks

the 9280 has the core i7 920, 6Gb mem, OCZ 30Gb SSD, 320, and 500Gb disk. running WIN 7 ultimate

It probably has something to do with the fact that you are running Windows 7. I would check out the Cyberlink forum for some help. The other program you could try is Arcsoft's TotalMedia Theater, but it has it's share of problems too. Best of luck.

As jrnewhouse said. If I recall correctly, I ran the Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor (in beta) on a system with Cyberlink powerDVD and I believe that it flagged that app as having some inconsistencies that should be addressed by the manufacturer (i.e., cyberlink). Of course, that "addressing" might not get done and be released until Win7 itself goes RTM.
