    Hey,

Haven't been here for a while  And this doesn't exactly have to do with windows but the lappy does have windows on it and it's about software so ;p

My lappy has a bios password now and I don't know what it is no is it likely that I'm going to find it out :( Is there anyway to restore it? Flashing or anything? I don't mind loosing any of the bios settings they were probably messed up in the process... So can anyone please help? Getting into the bios has a password as well as booting up the OS so I'm completely locked out :(

    Thanks in advance!

It is against the site rules to discuss this topic.

If the laptop is truly yours and not stolen then you should know your own password.

It is, if I provide a photo of the lappy and the order number would the topic be ok?

    It's a dell XPS M1530.

Yep...as mentioned, discussion of bypassing security measures like passwords for any reason is against the forum rules.

Contact Dell and they should be able to assist you.
