Well bc135 i can say just about the opposite of what your saying right now with vista.
Setup was fast, but lots of bloat ware i agree, after i unstalled it (probably not as good as you) it worked fast. All my previous apps worked, and even though i don't like flip3d either and think it's a waste of programming it may be useful to someone who has 10 windows open at a time.
But i say different people have different opinions so there's no need for quarrel.

The great majority of the people is using the OS the find preloaded on their computers. Most computer users do not even know the difference between an OS, a program and an icon on the desktop.
It is not a choice, it's just inertia.
How many people do you think would buy Vista if the desktops and laptops came bundled with another OS? (Linux, OSx, even XP)? -
Well, that's what i think too Sredni but to keep away from any arguments i stand by what i said about people choosing which os they want to use.

Keep it nice Zoid, we don't want any more incidents here or else Greg said this thread will be closed and you'd be banned.

...now it sounds like I'm the bad guy

The Zoid didn't say anything that would get him banned, Calvin.

Stay on topic people. No need for name calling or unecessary comments (^).

No offense meant, Matt, but taking a topic like this which is admittedly based on nothing more than second-hand info from a phone call on a videocast by an "insider," then starting the thread with "word has it," and hoping that nothing but serious discussion will follow, is asking a lot, IMHO, even if the OP meant well.
