    Hello,

recently I started to get a weird BSOD with the STOP 0x00000124. Windows dumps the memory and I can only power off and power on.
I noticed it mainly happens when the laptop works on Power Saver mode and CPU goes down to its lower voltage 0.850 or sthing like that.

Have you ever had this on HP8510p??
I dont really know what it can relate to...

Google seems to indicate it's an nvidia/sound card problem... Someone on a forum I found in a google search suggested disabling your soundcard if it's a realtek one in the BIOS. Of course you'll have to use USB soundcards instead though...

This is not a solution, it some kind of a joke! My config doesnt even have nvidia parts...? I also googled it and didnt find anything useful. I installed SP1 last night. We'll see if it helps :) Then a clean Windows, then HP is in trouble when I will get to their a**** again...

I am undervolting while on the High Performance but when switching to Power saver I prefer it being at default voltages so I turn RM Clock off. Even when I was testing the undervolting I had different BSOD.

    BTW. SP1 didnt help...

I bet this doesnt happen when RMclock is off

Its from undervolting/Rmclock. Your default voltage isnt .850v it should be around .937

Your default voltages must have been detected incorrectly making your default voltages too low.

Why bother using 2 profiles. Follow my undervolting guide and set up the performance on demand profile. This has the advantage of both Power Saver and Maximum performance profiles

Well and believe me, the first thing I did to test if it was undervolting was to turn RM Clock off.
So step by step. Turn the No managment profile on in RM Clock. Close RM Clock. Change from High Performance or Balanced to Power Saver in Vista profiles. .... BSOD....
I use power saver when on battery as my RM Clock has the lowest voltage of 0.937 as you said but when running it I can see CPU goes lower when in power saver - 0.850.
