What can cause the BSOD to come up during install of XP. I am trying to do this on a TX2500z using a Legit XP Home copy. I get the blue screen and it load the drivers and then it just crashes to the blue screen, I tried it with a regular XP copy and with SATA drivers sliped in.

    then the dreaded BSOD

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

    blah blah blach

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE: You haven't installed the correct SATA drivers, or not slipstreamed them properly.

I selected slipstreamed Single Driver only, downloaded the driver, extracted it, selected it in nLite, then burned the ISO and popped it in

Should I let it slipstream the X86 and X64 for the hell of it also? Or will the X64 being there mess it up?

It won't be used....Won't mess up anything. I used to just assign the folders, and let all the drivers be slipstreamed. Worth a try !!

Don't worry about that. RAID driver, SATA driver, amounts to the same thing.

My only last thought is are you sure that is the appropriate driver for your chipset?
