I made a post about this earlier at the link below, please refer to it before answering.
    General questions

Q1 - How do I find out what file is missing? I have access to cmd via startup repair?

Q2 - how much harddisk space is needed for temporary files?

When answering please keep in mind that I am clueless when it comes to computer if you use any specific terminology or computer talk do not assume that I know what you are talking about because most likely I won't.

Other info regarding making recovery discs etc: I don't have access to another computer with rewrittable drive. So I can't make any cd's of recovery programs etc. I have a flash drive if it's possible to run a program from that the same as you would by inserting a cd then tell me about it.

I backed up my data and I did a full restore. Everything is working again now.
