hi. when i use an external monitor and my ifl-90 (with xp) sleeps or hibernates, i get a blue screen of death when i try to revive it. i have the 8600 GT GPU, with 169.09 drivers. does anyone know if there is an nvidia driver that is stable with an external monitor and sleep/hibernate? anyone else run into this problem? woot!

answering my own question for the benefit of those who may run into this problem. it was actually caused by a usb device, not the 2 monitors. remember- enable legacy usb support in bios if you are using a bunch of usb devices. solved the problem. woot!

What was the stop code(s) you were getting on those BSODs?
I've been getting on average one a week (several different stop errors, though two of them have been repeated several times) without being able to nail down the source of the problem - and I do have several USB devices attached.

I better check if USB legacy support is turned on the next time I reboot - doesn't hurt to try, even though I'm not too optimistic :).
