    Does anyone know how to backup ps2 and ps1 games???? My first disc of FF7 is scratched up and it wont play. Thanks

    I used cdrdao to rip my FF7 disc to my hard drive. Mine was stuttering every couple of minutes, and ripping it meant it went a lot faster.

    You are gonna need a way around the copy protection. Google will reveal many answers.

    I just typed " cdrdao read-cd --device 1,1,0 --datafile ff7.iso --read-raw psx.toc "

    The read-taw flag means read it bit by bit, to get around the PSX's odd sector setout. it creates a .bin file, which an emulator can read.
