well i was using the backup and restore center clicked back up, then edited the settings (default settings, everything backup) so basically it is not backing up and it fails to back up everytime, any other way to backup the ENTIRE drives i have on my computer? (c drive, and the separate partition drive?)

im backing it up to a External My book Essential Hard Drive which has 453 gb free on it.

    any help?

i had the same problem with file back and full back with vista ultimate, i just ditched it and back up my personal files individually with a 3rd party program.
