What is the best way to back up my laptop? I use it mainly for email, web browsing, Word docs & Excel files.

I would like to start with a full backup and then just do incremental backups each day of any files changed that day.

What kind of media is recommended, and what kind of software?

Is daily backup of emails a separate issue?

    Thanks for any help.

There are some online backup services available.

For in-home backups an external USB drive is probably the simpliest for backing up a notebook. That is what I use. The processes I employ for backing up my phone/PDA and PC are described here
