I format my HP often and one thing that drives me crazy is that I can never backup my itunes library properly.

Windows is installed to the C: drive while all of my .mp3s are stored on my E: and F: drives. How do I backup itunes so that on a fresh install it will remember where my music is located? Right now whenever I have to format I have to manually add 2000+ songs from a lot of different folders, its very tedious. Any help is appreciated

As long as you keep the folder structure the same, export the library from itunes (forget what menu it is under). The exported files are located in the itunes folder on your PC (likely under my music). Make sure to copy them as part of your backup and it should work. Not in front of my personal machine else could provide you with more detailed steps and filenames . Good luck
