I am using Ace Backup and it is backing up all my files as a "000 file" type.

The files were originally Word, and PDF files.

Word can not open the files.

    How can I correct this?

I asked this question in their forums, but I don't think there is a lot of traffic there.

Presumably it's some kind of (compressed, maybe encrypted?) archive, so you want to use the program that created it to restore your files.

If it was supposed to just copy your files as-is then I don't know what's going on.
