    Bandwidth Meter?

    Hi just wondering if you could help, I am on the road now and have got 3GB Download Bandwidth on my cell phone to use with my laptop, but if i go over 3 gb its a extra 10p per mb which is alot really...

    Anyway need a bandwidth meter of what im downloading/uploading for VISTA free or paid dont care.

    By the way just wondering will it slow down my connection?

    I use Net Meter. It is a lot like DU Meter, but free.

    Netmeter only shows uploads for me, i've also had this problem with bitmeter and a few others :( Think it may be vista..
    Any ideas?

    Sometimes you need to change the interface it monitors. I have mine set to All Interfaces and it works fine on Vista. Have you grabbed the latest version?

    Hmm did a bit of messing around with it and it didn't work:\ They work fine on my old laptop with windows xp..

    I recently tried Netlimiter Monitor (freeware), and it's very nice. I suspect you say it's crap because you don't know how to use it. Once you start it up and let it run for a while, you can click on the "Show stats" icon in the top-right corner (it looks like a bar graph next to the "N"). It will show you stats by hour, day, week, month, etc...

    NetLimiter Monitor free kept loosing the stats for me, so I gave up on it.
